Ingredients
1 litre milk
100 grams sugar
A few almonds and pistas (chopped)
A few cardamom seeds
A little nutmeg powder
A few strands of kesar (dissolved in milk)
Basundi is in Gujarati Meetha Pakwan or can say Sweet Dish, found
mix taste as geographical coordinates of North Indian Food and East IndianFood.
Method
Pertain a little ghee on the insides of the vessel for making
basundi.
Boil the milk on deliberate fire with constant stirring to avoid
scorching of milk.
Boil till it thickens.
Then put in sugar.
Cook till the sugar melts completely.
Take away it from the fire.
