I think all you
to make simple, easy, tasty, tangy subzi's these days. It is a great monsoon
and i am sure all of us want to eat some delicious food……In the process I came
across this Subzi called Bombay potato curry. I immediately gave it a try and
it was yummy!!! To my surprise it is a no onion and no garlic recipe also a
little time made recipe.
Ingredients
for Bombay Potato Curry Recipe:

chilies

tablespoons - Oil

tablespoon - Tamarind paste

tablespoon - Jaggery powder

Teaspoons - Crushed Ginger

Teaspoons - Cumin seeds

Teaspoons - Red Chili powder
1
Teaspoons - Coriander
powder
1
Teaspoons - Garam masala powder
½
Teaspoons - Turmeric powder
Salt to
taste
Method
for Bombay Potato Curry Recipe How to Make:
Step 1:Boil
the potatoes, peel the skin and cut them up into large bite-sized chunks.
Step2:Now
Boil water. Put four tomatoes in it.. Leave for ten minutes.
Step 3:After
boiling peel their skin and make puree.
Step 4:Add the
oil to a saucepan along with tomato puree , turmeric powder and jagger and
boil
it in high temperature for three minutes.
Step 5:Add the
Tamarind paste, crushed ginger, chili powder and pour in two cups of hot water
and allow it to boil for ten minutes in medium flame.
Step 6: Now add the chunked potatoes and stir it
well so, its mix well.
Step 7:Add the
garam masala powder. Mash four to pieces of potatoes and add it to the subzi so
that it thickens a bit.
Serving
Ideas for Bombay Potato Curry Recipe:
Garnish
with Coriander leaves.
Add
lemon juice.
Enjoy
with any type of Indian bread or Pulao.

Tips for Bombay Potato Curry Recipe:
If you
are using tamarind instead of paste soak it in hot water for ten minutes and
extract the pulp two or three times and keep aside until use.
Adjust
the amount of tamarind,jaggery and spices according to your taste.
