Lasaniya batata is kadhiyavadi Gujarati’s recipe. It is
garlic flavored potatoes. Lasaniya batata is a like a spicy sabji. In Lasaniya
batata baby potatoes with garlic , tomatoes and onions curry is used.
Ingredients Lasaniya
Batata Spicy Sabji Recipe :
Baby potatoes: 300 grams
Onions (Chopped) : 1
Tomato (chopped): 1
Bengal gram flour (besan): 1 Cup
Yogurt: 1/2 Cup
Oil: 2 Table-spoons
Coriander powder: 2 Tea-spoons
Coriander leaves (chopped): 1 Table-spoon
Garam masala powder: 1/2 Tea-spoon
Turmeric powder: 1/4 Tea-spoon
Red chilli powder: 3/4 Tea-spoon
Chat masala: 1 Tea-spoon
Garlic (chopped): 10 cloves
Salt: as per taste
Method How to make Lasaniya Batata Spicy Sabji :
Step-1: Boil the potatoes in pressure cooker and peel it skin.
Step-2: Make a paste of garlic, cumin seeds, turmeric powder and tomatoes.
Step-3: Take a pan, fry boiled potatoes until it get light brown. Pepper chat masala on it.
Step-4: Take a pan , fry onions(chopped) in till it get brown.
Step-5: Add fry potatoes, mixture paste, gram flour in it. Cook it for 4-5 min.
Step-6: Add coriander powder, garam masala powder, red chilli powder, salt in it.
Step-7: Mix yogurt in it. Stir well.
Step-8: Decorate with coriander leaves and serve it.
