Sabudana Khichidi is dish which is mostly eat at
fasting. It is very famous in Maharashtra. Sabudana is called sago. Sabudana
Khichidi is making for breakfast too. Sabudana Khichidi is without garlic and
onion recipe. Sabudana Khichidi made of Sabudana with potatoes and crushed
peanuts.
Ingredients for Faradi Sabudana Kichadi :
Sabudana (Sago): 1 Cup
Potato (diced): 1 Cup
Green chilies: 1-2
Roasted Peanuts: 2 Table-spoons
Oil or Ghee: 1 Table-spoon
Coriander Leaves (Chopped): 1 Tea-spoon
Cumin seeds: 1 Tea-spoon
Sugar(powder): 1 Tea-spoon
Juice: ½ a Lemon
Curry Leaves: few
Method of How to Make Farali Sabudana Kichadi:
Step-1: Wash sabudana (sago) well. Dip it for 5 to 6 hours or overnight without any water otherwise it will get mushy.
Step-2: Take a pan. Add oil in it. Add cumin seeds, add green chili and curry leaves until it is sizzle.
Step-3: Add chopped potatoes and little salt until it is boiled.
Step-4: Take Peanuts, roast it and make a powder of it.
Step-5: Add sabudana (sago) in a mixture pan and mix it well.
Step-6: Add powder of peanut and small salt.
Step-7: Add coriander leaves (chopped) , lemon juice , Sugar(powder) , serve it.
Additional Tips:
Depending on the quality of sago decide the dipping time.
You can use red chilies instead of green
