famous snakes. Khaman Dhokla is made of chana flour. Khaman Dhokla mostly
serves with green chutney. Gujarati is known everywhere for Khaman Dhokla and Fafda.
Ingredients for Khaman Dhokla Recipe
Chana flour: 250 grams
Green chillies (cut lengthwise): 4 to 5
Coriander leaves: 4 table spoons
Grated coconut: 4 table spoons
Kajus (cashewnuts): 1 table spoon
Sugar: 4 tea spoons
Ginger-chilli paste: 1 tea spoon
Soda-be-carb: 1 tea spoon
Mustard seeds: 1 tea spoon
Sesame seeds: 1 tea spoon
Oil: 1 tea spoon
Citric acid: ½ tea spoons
Asafoetida: a pinch
Salt as per taste
Method How to make Khaman Dhokla Recipe
Step-1: Take a chana flour, add salt, ginger-chilli paste, asafetida, little citric and oil make a batter.
Step-2: Take a big container, boil water, put a sieve at the bottom, and put a dish on a sieve.
Step-3: Add soda-bi-carb in mixture and mix well.
Step-4: Pour the batter in the dish of container, cover the container as vapours not come out. Put a weight on a container.
Step-5: After 5-6 minutes, take a dish out of container and cool it.
Step-6: Add seasoning on the cool khaman of heat oil, add mustard seeds, green chilies, 1 ½ cups water, sugar, pieces of kaju.
Step-7: Cut them into pieces and garnish with chopped coriander and grated coconut and serve it.
