Medu
vada is round shaped recipe famous South Indian recipe which is made from urad
dal. Medu vada is one type of pakoda. Try this Medu vada with sambhar and coconut chutney.
Ingredients for Medu Vada Recipe
Urad
dal: 1 Cup
Green
Chillies: 3
Peppercorns:
3 to 4
Curry
leaves: 10
Ginger:
1 Teaspoon
Salt
as per taste

Method How to Make Medu Vada Recipe
Step 1: Take urad dal, wash and soak for 2
hours.
Step 2: Drain
soaked urad dal, add green chillies, pepper, curry leaves and ginger and blend
in a mixer and add little water.
Step 3: Add
salt make small rounds.
Step 4: Wet
your hand; take a portion of the mixture in your hand, make a hole in the
centre with your thumb.
Step 5: Take
a pan, heat oil, fry wada until it get brownish.
Step 6: Drain
on absorbent paper. Serve hot with fried coconut chutney and sambhar.
