Dabeli is Vada Pav
type snake which is most famous in kutch of Gujarat and each corner street of Gujarat so
dabeli is also called kutchi dabeli. Dabeli is bun stuffed with potatoes,
onions, masala, peanuts and pomegranate mixture spicy in
taste. Try it with ketchup and green chutney.
Ingredients for Dabeli
Dabeli buns: 12
Green chillies: 10
Onions: 2
Potatoes: 500 grams
Pomegranate seeds: 100 grams
Ground nuts
(roasted): 100 grams
Sesame seeds
(powdered): 25 grams
Fennel seeds
(chopped): 10 grams
Red chilli powder:
1 Teaspoon
Pepper: ½ Teaspoon
Coriander leaves: 1
Teaspoon
Amchure powder: 1
Tablespoon
Garam masala: 1
Teasppon
Sugar: 1
Teaspoon
Lemon: 1
Ghee
Garlic chutney
Cumin seeds
Jaggery: a
little
Nylon sev
Tomato ketchup
Salt as per your
taste
Method for How to Make Dabeli
Step 1: Boil potatoes,
peel well and grate well.
Step 2: Take oil in pan,
add ground nuts and fry , add salt , red chilli powder and pepper and fry for few
time.
Step 3: Add all masala
in it.
Step 4: Cut the bun from the middle into two apply both
chutneys.
Step 5: Add made masala in between two buns. Add finely
chopped onions.
Step 6: Put little tava in ghee, roast stuffed buns.
Step 7: Serve hot dabeli with chutney.
