If you want to try different taste of khichdi try this vaghareli khichdi recipe. This fry khichdi tastes awesome without vegetables also. Fry dahi and vaghareli khichdi make great combination. If you are follow diet and want to try something tasty then try this recipe of vaghareli khichdi.  


Ingredients for Vaghareli Khichdi Recipe

Rice: 2 Cup

Moong dal: 1/2 cup

Water: 4 cups

Ghee: 2 Tablespoon

Cumin seeds: 1 Teaspoon

Cinnamon: 1 Stick

Clove: 5

Turmeric Powder: ½ Teaspoon

Onions: 2

Green chili: 4

Ginger: 1 Tablespoon

Salt as per Taste

Green peas: ¼ Cup

Carrot: ¼ Cup

Paneer: ¼ Cup

Cilantro

Method for How to Mame Vaghareli Khichdi

Step 1: Soak moong dal and rice in water for 20 minutes.

Step 2: Take ghee in pressure cooker; add cumin seeds, clove, and cinnamon.

Step 3: Add ginger paste, chili, and onions.

Step 4: Mix well and fry until onions get golden brown.

Step 5: Add all vegetables if you want to add, 1/2 cup of water and mix well.

Step 6: Add soaked moong dal and rice.

Step 7: Cook it by 5 or 6 whistles in pressure cooker.

Step 8: After that transfer khichdi to serving bowl, decorate with cilantro and serve.
